WHY PEOPLE LOOSE THEIR RELIGION?
E very person that ever lives has a philosophy, and each person success are base on their philosophy. A person religious life is no different. Our successes are base on our philosophy. The reasons why people failed in their religious life are the same reasons why they failed in high school, collage, in their marriage life, job life and church life. In high school one child might be more knowledgeable about a subject and are getting better grade than the others, before the other children tries to find out the secrets to that child achievement and tries to adopt those principles, they react by hating that child, and do every thing in their power to derailed his or her life. Every person that has cast off their faith, can be trace right back to some root defect that they have from childhood.
DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE DOCTRINES OF SALVATION.
The second reason people cast off their faith, is that they do not understanding the doctrines of salvation, how a person got save keep save and live the life. If you ask them to explain how a person got save. “They will tell you believe in Jesus” But who really don’t? The scripture say “Even the devils believe and tremble”
When a person got save will they still have their sin problem? Yes. When a diplomat came to your country, you cannot just go and arrested that person for crimes, because that person has diplomatic immunity.
THIS IS CALL PRACTICAL AND PROGRESSIVE.
“PROGRESSIVE”
At conversion the new converted person is brought into the family of God and has been given immunity. We call this grace. At conversion most or some of the sins that enslave that person is broken. However, some is left on purpose. Because the person will have to be brought to the realization that it is all about Christ and what he done. If some sins is not left in place to taunt the person, the person will take credit for his or her new found righteousness.
The new believer is still sinning in some places of his or her life, however he she is standing in Christi righteousness. If they over stresses themselves to be holy before time, this will rob their joy, and fling them down into an “I cannot make it attitude” Because really and truly you cannot make it. Living the Christians life is like living off somebody else credit card. However, this is not license to be wicked, and to stop being progressive or perfecting righteousness.
Ephes. 2:8 (NASB-U) For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; Ephes. 2:9 (NASB-U) not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.
THEY LOOSE THEIR RELIGIONS BECAUSE THEY DID NOT REMAIN WITH THE GROUP THAT GET THEM SAVE.
Some people has that habit of switching side, quickly and sell out old friends, and cannot stand up for what they know to be right, they left themselves open for every fly by night manipulators to take advantage of them.
A person will get conversion at a certain church and just because another person give them a piece of fish tails, they leave where they got save and go end up in a hell hole of a church with a pastor who cannot provide for such person spiritual life.
The people of Jesus time make the same mistakes. There were some thirty nine known diseases in those days. Jesus came on the seen curing all kind of diseases, and not once any of the master mind ever ask Jesus what herbs to use and cure palsy or leprously. Every questions that was put to him was design to get him in trouble.
I have been a Christian since I was nineteen years old and now I am above fifty. I saw many people loose their religions over those period of years, some of them I know personally. But I know that they would not make it, because none of the ingredient of spiritual life sustainment was not in them. In bible study, the person who do not know a thing is the one who want to teach.
SPIRITUAL PURGING.
For example, the only sin Christians are watching out for is the sex sin, and the sex sin is not going to stop any time soon. Human being has five main instincts that govern the body. The first instincts are the food seeking instincts, we can stop eating food for a day or two but will eventually have to eat. We have the self-preservation instincts, even a man who is planning on killing himself will run from a snake. The sex instincts is call the reproductive instincts, and sooner or later a man or a woman is going to undress themselves and take part in the bed act, wither he she is a prophet, priest, peasant or king, when the urges comes in full force pants and panties will fall. When the right person came along and the right time came along. X Christians were looser from the start, which bound to goes down once isolated from their support group.
John 15:3 (NASB-U) "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.
John 6:63 (NASB-U) "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.
CALLING JESUS LORD, LORD IS NOT ENOUGH
We must move on from the baby stage. Christians sometime slaughter each other then run to the alter to spent the night in prayer, when all God is asking them is to clean up your mess. I visit a church, and the pastor show me a bad face, and right there I know he was told something, and as time goes by, it came out. These say and do thing to keep other talented Christians from getting a position that they intended to get. These are some of the things that x Christians do. Some of them when they finally leave the faith, the faithful never tries to reclaimed them. One backslider said to me. “I notice that you are not trying to reclaim me” “It grieve my heart, but you never gave us any rest when you were among us, you fought us with a passion, and you are suppose to one of us”
2 Tim. 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work. )
Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
MANY OF WHOM PROFESS THAT THEY WERE SAVE, DID NOT EXPERIENCE THE GENUINE CONVERSION.
The person who buy his salvation, try to get God’s salvation through good works. But, experience none of the joy other Christians had. The group who grow up in Christians family learn all the tricks of the trade, but has not know the lord for themselves, but are going by papa and mama salvation. Then the group who experience Satanic Conversion. Every experience that the genuine Christians had this group had the counterfeit of it, this group even get persecution that further convince them that they are Christians, but they lack love, joy, peace, goodness, faith, long suffering, and self control.
Philip. 4:7 (KJV)And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Some x Christians it is God that cut them off from the faith, and not just them leave, if the believers refuses to bear fruit of love, then God have not much uses for such and such a person. Some of them prevent sinners from being convert. And cause new converted people to leave the faith.
John 15:1-2 (NASB-U) "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. [2] "Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit.
John 15:5 (NASB-U) "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
1Jo 4:20 If anyone boasts, "I love God," and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won't love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can't see?
The love the Bible is talking about is not a feeling but a doing.
LET US EXAMINE X CHRISTIANS CHURCH LIFE.
James 5:16 (NASB-U) Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
In Sunday school the Christians who has little or no knowledge on the subjects is the one that want to teach the subject. The one who knows nothing is not asking questions but is doing all the talking. Things that x Christians confess now that they fall, before they fall, they would never say it to a believer who is knowledgeable AND CAN HELP THEM. These would never keep friend with knowledgeable people. People who want to go un in the faith. I have a field day with these kind of Christian, once I give them one of my books or show them my web sites, they stop talking to me and hide away, because they do not want to tell me how well I scored.
Proverbs 15:12 (KJV) A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.
LET US EXAMINE XCHRISTIANS MISTAKES.

I was into the witchery stuff before I was converted to Christianity. Any time I came across a witch under cover in the church masquerading as a pastor they instantly hate me, because they know I know what they up to. Some pastor scared that if they encourage certain member to continue with the faith, you might became a preacher and the people might like you more that them. That is why when they are going on vocation they brought in preacher from some place else and do not appoint any of the elders in the same church to act for them until they return.
A certain person at one of the school I attend causes me to stop going and begin to attend a different school. As soon as I heard that he left I went back to that original school, then I found out that many other Island people left because of him. He did little hurtful stuff, so small that if you made complain you look stupid, but so hurtful that you cannot help but walking away. That is the idea, to make you drop out. Another problem of x Christians,
You could not get these to read a book, even if the book drop on their head. Therefore, they fall prey to manipulator in the church. The next mistakes of x Christians is that they turn the other cheek one time too much. They allow themselves to became the punching bags of people. Theses punches are taking effect. Some punch were design to kill you later in your nest or crib.
1 Tim. 4:13 (KJV) Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 1 Tim. 4:14 (KJV) Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 1 Tim. 4:15 (KJV) Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 1 Tim. 4:16 (KJV) Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
IF THESE THINGS BE IN YOU, YOU CAN NEVER FALL.
X CHRISTIANS DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE DOCTRINES OF SALVATION.
There is a sin of the body and a sin of the soul, the sin of the soul is the one that you must pay attention to.
Micah 6:7 (KJV) Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? The sin of the soul is lack of love, this sin have to do with all the sins that we commit against each other.
John 13:34 (GW) "I'm giving you a new commandment: Love each other in the same way that I have loved you.
1 Cor. 13:1 (GW) I may speak in the languages of humans and of angels. But if I don't have love, I am a loud gong or a clashing cymbal.
1 Cor. 13:3 (GW) I may even give away all that I have and give up my body to be burned. But if I don't have love, none of these things will help me.
They did not lay a foundation.
For the new Christians to be successful in their walk with the Lord, he or she will have to lay a good foundation. If the new believers starting out dragging those bad habits along with them it is going to lag them down and strangulate them along the way. Let us use marriage for and example. The reason why many marriages broke up is because the couple did not lay a good foundation before they get married. Every marriage that has been broken, broken because of one out of nineteen reasons. Such as, Money trouble, power struggle, the interference of family and friend, gullibility, hear says, look phobia or “What you looking at?” Fear of who his or her mate is looking at, has sent countless numbers of black American men to prison yearly, because that mentality has set them up for a fight every where they go. Because if the woman is looking good other men is going to look, if other men do not turn heads that mean the woman do not make any sense. So head turning is a compliment and should not cause a fight. The couple must talk about these thing and start out right, the same thing with the Christians life. The new believers must have cultivated a different mind-set from the one that they got before they met the lord.
THEY DID NOT SET THEIR HEART TO SEEK GOD.
Job 11:7 (KJV) Canst thou by searching find out God? canst thou find out the Almighty unto perfection?
2 Chron. 12:14 And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the Lord.
2 Chron. 20:3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
THEY WAIT FOR MEN TO TEACH THEM.
THEY DID NOT LEFT MAN BEHIND.
Many Christians fails to realize that the pastors are only servants, to serve the brethren. We owed them no special allegiance, no more that give them certain honor as prescribe in the Bible. Some people let pastors dominate their life and faith, tell them who to marry and when and how to have sex. Tell them how much money to give and such like. From some pastors saw you they already have your life map and planned out, and they bound to get you out of the will of God. One pastor was coming to my house, my wife take up my bottle of rum and was about to hide it. I say “woman, put down my bottle of rum” he is not Jesus Christ, He is not my lord, Who is he? Put down my rum, if he say any thing about it I just have to throw him out.
You need to know who leading you, some Christians is being lead by donkeys and mules. Some is being led by snakes. Some is being lead by greedy dogs. They must run into shipwreck of faith. I was in a certain church and some young people getting ready to go off to collage. The pastor jump up and bring a prophecy saying some people here want to go to collage and the lord do not want them to go. I get up and say. “Listen young people “Go un to collage, go un to collage.”
Isaiah 56:11 (KJV) Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
Matthew 15:14 (KJV) Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
John 16:13 (KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
When a person became converted to Christianity, one out of three things is going to happen. Either the person is going to continue and become a great child of God. Or the person is going to became spoiled by demonic spirits or spoiled by man. You would never like to see a spoiled Christians.
Col. 2:8 (KJV) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
There comes a time when you must left man behind. Stop listening to man and go find God. Get to know God for yourself. You have to get your own revelation of God. Some of the things that people truly need to know I never even tell people. Things I found out on my own, some of the things that Christians are worrying about saying it is sin, have nothing to do with sin. But if I ever tell them that it is not sin they would hang me by my toes. Recently a minister and my self were talking about the same thing. The people refuses to read, questions and do research on their own. They think it is sin to question God. “Who am I to question God” God made me and that give me basic right to ask him any thing I feel like. After all he knows, I do not.
1 Samuel 3:7 (KJV) Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed unto him.
Hosea 6:3 (KJV) Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

God do not want us to be scared of him he invites us to come to him. Hebrews 4:16 (KJV) Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Many of them believe we are out to "convert" them, or take them away from the faith. I personally have no such desire, and I don't think you do either. If a person is truly happy as a Christian, and if it truly fills a void in their psyche, I would never want to jeopardize that for them. Faith is a very precious thing. Lord knows I tried to hang on to my own. But it's so good to know that for those who are in Christianity and who know deep down inside that they just can't believe it anymore, there are others of like mind out there. They don't have to make the journey alone"

When the Lord save us our body was not save, it was our spirit and soul. The changes took place in our spirit man. Not the body. The body will still continue to sin. If the believer do not know this they will become worried as to why am I still lusting? And became eaten up with guilt to the point where they experience no peace and joy.

Your stories mimic my own. now my family considers me an outcast because of my stance. They cannot even consider that I have never been closer to my god than I ever felt, and am guilt free. I no longer worry that jesus may return in clouds of glory during a moment that I am masturbating or cussing at an asshole motorist on the road, and would therefor not have enough time to repent of my 'sins' and would be left behind by a righteous god to suffer in the tribulation... bah blah blah. I find your comments very thought provoking and challenging, especially since I am a pastor of church. Most of your ideas have spun around in my mind from time to time and I too grew tired of much of the religion I saw expressed not only on TV but in local churches. I suppose that the biggest reason to believe in Christ is the transformed lives of His followers, but then again, I the biggest objection people have with Christianity is the lack of transformation in the lives of His followers. To be honest with you, there are days when I look at my own life and wonder if I am making a dent. It seems to me that you both are not into bashing - and that is good. When I left a mainline church I grew up in, it was quite tempting to do some bashing to justify leaving, but that didn't seem like it was in the spirit of Jesus whom I want to serve. Two points for that attitude!
I can imagine the anger rising up in many who find your site threatening to their faith or religion. Their anger or harsh words don't seem to line up with their Master's. Jesus never seemed to defend himself, but defending the child, the women, the poor, the oppressed, that is another thing. Since the beginning of history, I suppose, man has found ways to use religion to control others. I personally don't want anything to do with that stuff. I prefer to see people set free.
I believe that God is not threatened in the slightest by your comments or current disillusionment with the state of religion in America. In fact, He probably agrees with you more than you know. I wanted to be one Christian who encouraged you to keep honest, believing that the truth sets people free. Any story told in the Bible that has more allegory than actual fact, more imagery and figure of speech than is understood by those who need to interpret the Bible "inerrantly" will ultimately be valued more for the truth it hides than the truth it makes plain. Jesus' disciples describe themselves plainly as clueless, they just didn't get what was going on around them - until they experienced a man die and then, being a goner, come back to life. I have never seen anything so dramatic. I hunger for the clear direction of those "clueless men of the gospels" once they started living in Acts. I wish that I was so completely transformed by another that life's choices were made simpler. If there is one thing that they knew - it was this: People Matter to God. I believe that too, but I lose focus so easily and worry about the car or the way the Cleveland Indians are playing or how to pay my bills, and sometimes miss out on the miracle of life God placed all around me. Whatever you do, don't let puny man's religion allow you to miss the miracles around you."

When the Lord redeemed us our body was not redeem, it was our spirit and soul. The changes took place in our spirit man. Not the body. The body will still continue to sin. If the believer do not know this they will become worried as to why am I still lusting? And became eaten up with guilt to the point where they experience no peace and joy.
Even though our body were not redeem, we who wanting to live up to certain standard, to please society, must bring our body into subjection, even thou we do not do that to buy salvation.
